Monitors PAR level of all surgical instruments. Participates in departmental performance improvement activities. OSHA Blood borne Pathogen Class I.
Job Qualifications:
A. Education: High School graduate or equivalent or graduate of a Surgical Technician program.
B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Knowledge of surgical scrub duties preferred. The ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
C. Licensure, Registry or Certification: Certification as a Surgical Technician preferred. BLS required. CPI required.
D. Experience:
1. Prior work experience: Operating Room experience preferred.
2. Technical Training: Surgical Technician program preferred.
