Additionally, Claims Processing Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Claims Processing Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. As an Automotive Claims Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing and interpreting data gathered from multiple sources in multiple ways that result in actionable recommendations.

    Job Responsibilities

    The primary responsibility of the Automotive Claims Intake Specialist is to review electronic claim forms received from our dealership clients and repair facilities, locate the customer’s contract in our database, verify coverage, open a claim and set-up payees.

    Additional Duties

    Handle phone inquiries from both customers and repair facilities to provide information on contract coverages and data enter/transcribe the conversations quickly and accurately. Look up the cost of parts and labor for repairs using our online systems. You will work as a team with other staff members to bring all claims to a resolution, effectively and efficiently. You will report any client, customer, or repairer escalation requests, or any unusual claims to your team leader. Work with other CPS internal departments and all levels of CPS management. You will perform other responsibilities as needed.

    Job Requirements

    Data entry skills: Must type quickly and accurately.

    We are a customer-centric company and require the Intake Specialist to maintain an outstanding demeanor with our clients, their customers, and our repair facilities. Strong organizational and with the ability to problem solve and multitask.

    Must be proficient using a pc and the common Microsoft Office programs.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 per week
