Claims Processing Manager jobs in Bergenfield, NJ
Claims Processing Manager manages the administration of health insurance claims, payment processing, billing research, and responding to inquiries. Ensures timely and proper disposition of claims in accordance with coverage amounts. Being a Claims Processing Manager trains staff on organizational policies and ensures procedures are followed at all times. Provides guidance on more complex or high-value claims. Additionally, Claims Processing Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Claims Processing Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Claims Processing Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. WMi AS400 RPGILE Programmer Analyst
QUALIFACATIONS and EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Analytical Skills
- Prepare analysis and business design documents, listening to users to understand their needs
- Familiarity with wholesale, eCommerce and brick-and-mortar retail stores warehousing functions a plus
Technical Skills
- Create technical design documents
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with RPG, RPGLE, SQL on i-series
- Prepare and execute test plans, including set up of test environment Software Skills
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Manhattan Associates WMi platform
- Experience implementing and maintaining new processes and procedures in the Distribution Center
- Experience implementing and maintaining software bridges between WMi and other packages; experience with RLM and Inovis a plus
- Experience with WMi upgrades a plus
- Familiar with interfacing new warehouse technology through WMi, working with 3rd party vendors
Project Skills
- Plan day-to-day activities and software projects for the distribution center
- Actively participate in company projects as the warehousing software expert
- Prepare and execute implementation plans
Support
- Day to day support of WMi software and interfaces & day to day support of special DC equipment and hardware
- Other activities as required by the business
- Minimal travel required; some evenings and weekends
