DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate opening for an Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Walden, CO fuel pellet manufacturing plant.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician holds a key position and performs mechanical, electronic, hydraulic and electrical repairs for the installation and maintenance of our plant equipment and facilities.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
HS Diploma. Trade school or other advanced education or technical certification preferred.
Proven experience as a maintenance mechanic or similar role with the ability to troubleshoot and correct complex mechanical issues, as well as basic electrical issues.
Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; specialized expertise in mechanical and electrical systems a plus.
Experienced working with Electrical System up to 480 VAC.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair various manufacturing equipment, including those with motors and motor controls.
Have basic working knowledge of industrial computerized controls, variable speed drives, level sensors, limit switches, pressure switches, proximity sensors, photo-electric sensors and contactors and starters.
Knowledge and understanding of industrial safety including Lock Out/Tag Out And other critical safety procedures.
Skilled welding ability.
Ability to work well in a team environment with minimal supervision.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Five (5) or more years relevant training or experience as an Industrial Maintenace Technician or similar position.
JOB LOCATION
The job is located in Walden, CO - a small, family-oriented town in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. If you are not living in the area, the company will help you relocate by providing temporary housing during your first month of employment. Company housing is available for rent for the successful candidate.
POSITION TYPE
Full-Time/Regular. This position works 10 hour shifts, five days per week, of which one of those days may be during the weekend when the mill is not operating.
WAGE RATE
This position pays $27.50 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience. The company provides a complete benefit package.
