Claims Processing Manager jobs in Fort Worth, TX

This position is responsible for researching all claims provided to us by our customer. Claims will be anything from overs, shorts, damages, compliance charges, etc. They can also be months old, so a lot of looking for paperwork will be involved.

• Ability to be flexible and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to manage a 1 to 2 person team as the position grows
• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment
• Learn the WMS
• Possible travel to/from the customers customer (Wal Mart, Target, Amazon, etc.) to review their process
• Work on continous improvement of our processes
• Analysis and reporting of your findings to the customer and the DHL Management staff
• Attention to detail is a must.
• Have a sense of urgency, at times our customer is at risk of not being able to dispute the claim due to the timing so we have to act quickly
• Team management (20%) – lead and direct a team of claims analysts to process and resolve all distribution claims in a timely way
• Strategic focus (20%) – continuously assess and refine claims analysis process to improve service and address root causes of issues. Liaise with other departments to establish and maintain critical relationships.
• Claims handling and tracking (40%) - collection of distribution claims and investigation with relevant parties (carriers, warehouses, customers) and process owners (market operations, distribution teams, finance). Handle claims process with relevant suppliers.
• Reporting and analysis (20%) - develop and maintain accurate and concise reporting which provides key information for corrective action by process owners.
