    Minimum Training and Education : Graduate of high school or GED equivalency examination and must be certified and maintain a certification in sterile processing and as an instrument specialist from IAHCSMM International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management and have at least 2 years' experience in sterile processing.

    Certification in SPD leadership or management from IAHCSMM International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management certification, if not held, must be obtained within 6 months.

    Possess ability to understand and implement a variety of detailed instructions in the execution of processes. Applicant must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

    Basic computer skills required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure health care environment. Leadership, supervisory or management experience preferred.

    Job Description
