Overall Responsibility: The Processing Supervisor will play a vital role in assisting the Processing Manager with the day-to-day activities as they relate to the Processing line, operators, loading area, case out, and robots. This position will be a hands-on working Supervisor who will actively support the Processing Manager. This position will also support the Machine Operators rotation during breaks, lunches, and as needed.
Key areas of Responsibility:
· Ensure employee safety and welfare; lead the safety crusade by setting an example and holding your team accountable to follow safety rules and regulations and wearing their PPE
· Promote and develop employee relations and communications on the Processing line
· Maintain a smooth flow on the Processing floor
· New employee development, and training for egg packers, machine operators and loader operators
· Comply with SQF, HACCP and GMP requirements at all times.
· Any and all other duties as assigned.
· All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality Assurance Supervisor or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.
Qualifications & Education Requirements
