    Supervisor-Eligibility Transaction Processing

    Job Description:
    The Supervisor- Eligibility Transaction Processing is responsible for the day-to-day management of Eligibility Professionals.
    Mentor their team for the development and improvement of service to customers.
    improve internal communication and flows for the completion of their teams’ transactions. Be responsible for the management o the daily activities and specific functions within the Eligibility service organization.
    Be responsible for providing frontline, first level supervision and leadership to eligibility professionals
    Manage teams who are able to provide exceptional customer service.
    Be accountable that teams are meeting quality standards

    ***The position is in Topeka, KS, (possible "Hybrid/WFH schedule, 3 weeks remote/1 week in Topeka office) **

    Essential duties may include, but are not limited to:
    • Supervise activities of the department
    • Responds to complex and/or emergent matters needing second level support
    • Provide direction and mentoring to develop employees’ performance,
    • Review productivity and quality assurance
    • Collaborate with staff from the Quality Department
    • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas
    • Consistently build and maintain solid working relationships
    • Keeping up to date with business development and new policies and procedures
    • Manage day-to-day activities, prioritize and make risk/impact assessments
    • Ensure training and development plans are maintained for all team members
    • Escalate any appropriate problems to senior management
    • Support the Senior Manager to highlight operational risks and areas for improvement
    • Communicates with teams and Managers to provide status of work.
    Required skills/abilities
    • Knowledge of Medicaid and managed care programs.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
    • Ability to problem solve through analysis and ongoing feedback.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines, flexibility under pressure
    • Ability to deal with customer escalations
    • Capable of working independently
    • Excellent communication skills
    Minimum Qualifications/Experience
    • Associate Degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience considered in lieu of degree
    • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a service center environment, required.
    • Proficient in Microsoft office suite
    • Bilingual, preferred

For this position, actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $40K-$52K
