Opportunity Bank of Montana is currently seeking a Director of Internal Audit to lead our new Internal Audit Division. This position may be based at any of our locations across Montana. As our Director of Internal Audit, you will oversee the functions of planning, organization, directing, and controlling the Bank's internal audits. You will examine the accuracy and completeness of records and procedures for internal control to safeguard Bank assets, ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws; report audit findings, and make recommendations to mitigate risk. You will also oversee and coordinate specified external audits and federal and state exams:
Education and Experience Requirements
4-year college degree (accounting, finance or related) and 4 years' relevant experience-or equivalent combination of education & experience
Advanced knowledge and experience in auditing and/or accounting
5 years' experience in bank auditing
Supervisory and/or leadership experience
Experience auditing public companies
