Claims Quality Audit Manager manages the claims quality auditors and daily activities of quality claims audit function. Reviews and tracks claims quality audit reports and measures performance of auditors. Being a Claims Quality Audit Manager provides assistance in developing claims audit policies and procedures. May provide coaching in complex claims audit. Additionally, Claims Quality Audit Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a department. The Claims Quality Audit Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Claims Quality Audit Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     Who You Are

    The Audit Manager position requires a precise, analytical worker who can handle multiple projects independently, while ensuring accuracy remains at a premium. They will be able to achieve goals consistently and efficiently and will thrive in a professional work environment. They will also understand the full scope of their tasks and duties, while being accountable for their work and delivering a high-quality end product and service. Someone who can identify and communicate issues raised and can recommend solutions. This person will have an opportunity to develop audit programs and testing procedures relevant to client needs.

    Required Experience and Skills

    • Bachelor's Degree required
    • Master’s Degree preferred
    • CPA Required
    • 5 years minimum experience in public accounting
    • 5 years of auditing experience
    • Ability to grow and develop the audit team through effective management, training and support
    • Strong communication and computer skills
