    Hourly:

    Hourly Wage Scale: $35.30 Intro rate-$39.22 Regular rate USD hourly Benefits ( Bonus)


    The hourly range reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position at the time of posting. Within the range, exact compensation will be determined based on education/training, skill set, experience, and other organizational needs.


    Shift Differential Pay:

    Swing - $0.15

    Graveyard - $0.75

    SUMMARY


    The Quality Audit Coordinator interfaces with Customers and Corporate contacts, supports third party audits including BRC and KEQ, audits Quality systems and documentation, and helps to implement continuous improvement processes and programs.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Review new and existing corporate quality policies and procedures. Updates internal plant documents as necessary.
    • Develops plant wide documentation control process to meet audit requirements.
    • Review all third party, customer and internal (KEQ) audit standards to insure compliance.
    • Assists all plant departments with the coordination of audit information. Communicate areas of non-compliance to individual departments.
    • Create and maintain a tracking mechanism to insure ongoing audit compliance from all departments.
    • Create and maintain a tracking mechanism for audit scores, responses and corrective actions.
    • Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing findings.
    • Internal quality systems evaluations.
    • Prepare documentation for third party and customer audits.
    • Participate in applicable portions of 3rd party and customer audits.
    • Conduct policy and procedural training for plant.
    • Enter quality control data entry into available software including Infinity QS, Access, Excel, and AS/400.
    • Follow proper GMP and safety guidelines.
    • Ability to Comprehend, Apply and Create Technical Documents.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Participates in continuous improvement process.
    • Must adhere to the McCain Code of Conduct.
    • The employee may be required to successfully complete the orientation and training provided during the first ninety- (90) days of employment.

    • Responsibility to monitor work areas, watch for suspicious behavior and report any concerns regarding unidentified visitors and/or unauthorized personnel.
    • Authority to question and take appropriate measures regarding the safety of themselves, other employees, products, and equipment.
    • Responsibility of maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the food processing facility, especially where any raw or finished product is produced.
    • Authority to report and/or eliminate hazards to the safety of the food that is produced in the facility.

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE


    • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate Degree in a science or management discipline preferred (2 year Technical College degree).
    • Strong ability to work with others

    LANGUAGE SKILLS


    • Ability to comprehend and communicate in basic English and interact with all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.


    COMPUTER SKILLS


    • 2-5 years in a manufacturing or quality environment.
    • Strong organizational skills.
    • Proficient word processing and spreadsheet skills (MS Word, Excel, Access, and AS400).
    • Basic knowledge of HACCP and general QC/GMP practices and procedures.
    • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
    • Testing equipment (Scales, PH Meter, Salt Analyzer, Moisture Analyzer, and Texture Analyzer).
    • Experience in Statistical Process Control Techniques including Gauge R&R


    MATHEMATICAL SKILLS


    • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, proportions, areas and volumes.
    • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
    • Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance, and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
