Position Summary: Responsible for quality in assigned facility.
Responsibilities/Duties:
· Supervision and functional management of employees.
· Responsible for resource planning in assigned areas.
· Serve as Management Representative for ISO 9001 - QMS.
· Responsible for maintaining quality systems compliant with the industry and Steel Warehouse Quality System.
· Responsible for maintaining the document control system.
· Ensure that quality standards are complied with and managed.
· Support communications with external customers to ensure satisfaction.
· Responsible for establishing measurement and inspection methods appropriate to the customer’s specifications.
· Responsible for management of external and internal claims/complaints including corrective actions.
· Responsible for preparing and maintaining COQ for internal and external rejects.
· Responsible for APQP and PPAP submissions.
· Responsible for calibration activities including supervision of Laboratory Technicians.
· Responsible for capability studies and statistical support.
· Responsible for providing training in quality related functions and equipment.
· Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
