Claims Quality Audit Supervisor jobs in Detroit, MI

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all departmental activities, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards, utilizing available resources and support.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety rules and prompt reporting of unsafe conditions by department personnel.
• Direct the department to foster high morale, teamwork, pride, productivity, and quality.
• Resolve job performance issues and conflicts in accordance with the Employee Handbook, with support from the Human Resource Department.
• Enforce the use of tools/processes related to production team boards.
• Ensure proper employee training and track completion.
• Conduct employee assessments as required.
• Support launch activities as necessary.
• Coordinate equipment repairs with Maintenance and/or Tooling Departments.
• Communicate efficiently with team leads and department members, providing timely updates on operational matters.
• Liaise with supporting departments to resolve problems.
• Accurately and promptly complete all associated paperwork (corrective actions, scrap reports, production reports, downtime, employee evaluations, etc.).
• Coordinate production part rework, repair, or tear down as needed.
• Document all activities as required.
• Adhere to company guidelines for Emergency Evacuation to ensure employee safety.
• Undertake any additional responsibilities deemed necessary by management.

Basic Education, Experience, and Skills Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CMMS experience is REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years of related experience in the automotive/manufacturing environment.
• Excellent written, mathematical, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Good technical understanding of processes and machinery.
• Demonstrated organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
