Frulact will be opening a plant in the United States which will be located in Logan, Utah. Plant production will begin June 2024. Candidates will need to undergo extensive training in order to be prepared to begin operations in June.

Responsibilities:

• Control and manage the work of lab operators including working schedules and time keeping
• Ensure that results from final product testing is loaded onto the system
• Release final product, ensuring the compliance of customer specifications; final product hold and disposition when necessary
• Control of the raw materials, sending to the supplier the non-conformity when out of specification
• Participate and training in tasting the finished product
• Supervising the control of pests-including monthly pest control audits
• Replace the Quality Assurance Manager in case of absence
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science or microbiology
• Minimum 2-3 years of leadership experience preferable in a manufacturing setting
• Must be able to work in a high pressure, fast-paced environment; work effectively both independently and within a team
• Must be safety and quality conscious
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.; be able to stand, bend, lift, twist, and turn, for extended periods of time in a humid environment
• Must be available for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

• 8-hour shift
• Day shift
