Selects claims through random processes and/or other criteria. Being a Claims Quality Auditor makes recommendations to improve quality, workflow processes, policies and procedures. Typically requires an associate degree. Additionally, Claims Quality Auditor typically reports to a supervisor or a manager. The Claims Quality Auditor gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work.     ProAg has an exciting opportunity for a Claims Auditor to join our team. You will audit and process claims, checking for accuracy and completeness. Bring your passion for innovation and collaboration to ProAg to help serve our farmers, agents, and re-insurers.

    Reporting to the Claims Processing Supervisor, you will expedite the processing and payment of all claims. You must thrive in a collaborative environment where you will work closely with other departments including Underwriting, Claims, and Compliance, and be a resource for them.

    This position will be in on of ProAg’s office locations in Lenexa, KS, West Des Moines, IA, or Amarillo, TX

    In This Exciting Opportunity You Will:

    • Monitor claims through auditing and data entry activities and track claims for timeliness.
    • Ensure claims are adequately documented in processing system.
    • Work closely with the Underwriting team to ensure any changes required to claims are made in the system prior to payment.
    • Process loss claims for payment.
    • Provide clear, concise, accurate and timely communication with the policyholder from the beginning to end of the claims processes.
    • Provide support to other regions as needed through cross-training activities.

    What You’ll Bring:

    • Two years of relevant and progressive professional experience
    • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with employees and customers.
    • Sound analytical skills with an attention to detail, as well as problem-solving aptitude.
    • Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, set and shift priorities, and adapt to change.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential material strictly in accordance with company policy, Risk Management Agency (RMA) guidelines, etc.
