YOUR ROLE
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of advertising claims and how to support them
- Makes decisions and sets priorities according to the strategic plan.
- Independently design and manage or perform experiments utilizing laundry and textile industry instruments and methodologies.
- Independently work cross-functionally (outside R&D) to communicate issues, substantiation, etc. representing TPI.
- Provide direction and guidance to scientist/washlab coordinator level employees
- Become knowledgeable in all testing methodologies and factors that impact those methodologies; consider the factors when planning testing
- Contribute to the evolution of scientific rigor and understanding within the TPI/R&D team
• Analyze performance data and understand the statistics and results being generated.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the data generated; compare it to past data and identify changes/issues.
- Learn and develop a working knowledge of claims and claim substation and factors that influence them.
- Seek new opportunities to develop new claims for products that the person is responsible for through new tests and competitive analysis.
- Learn and maintain an understanding of the competitive set to better perform TKO role.
- Responsible for safe working conditions.
- Is aware of hazards associated with work assigned, observes safe work practices, keeps equipment neat, clean and in safe operating condition, and maintains good housekeeping standards.

YOUR SKILLS
- Education — chemistry, biology, physics or related science
- Experience — 10 or more years relevant experience in Consumer Products
- Prior experience with claims substantiation is required – preferably in Laundry, Fabric softening, and Hard Surface
- Experience interfacing with cross-functional groups including marketing and legal is required
- Lab experience with working knowledge of product performance assessment and/or instrumentation is required
- Self-motivated, creative, good oral and written communication.
- Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Creatively minded with a passion for innovation
- Experience required to efficiently perform a variety of experiments and tests.

salary for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This is the range that we in
good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We
may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.
This salary range may also be modified in the future
