Job Description:
Our Office in Dothan, AL is looking to immediatly hire a Cargo Claims Administrator.
- Competitive Salary
- M-F
- Investigate and ensure cargo claims are settled within industry standard timelines by determining carrier liability and the specific extent of that liability while applying appropriate NMFC Rules, tariff and contract provisions
- Communicates with claimants, company personnel and other interested parties to settle each claim
- Performs other duties as assigned by Cargo Claims Manager or Director

Job Requirements:
- High School Education or equivalent, some college course completion preferred
- Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Experience with MS Office software programs
- Knowledge and use of multiple programs including LTL 38, RVI Imaging System, Microsoft Suite, Cargo Claims Application, among others
- Understanding of service center operations, OS&D, LTL Freight Service Rules, and customer agreement contract language
- Prior experience in the transportation industry preferred
