Community Healthcare System is hiring a Technical Architect!

Job Description:

The Technical Architect is responsible for establishing and maintaining corporate wide information technology and ensures IT alignment with the enterprise's business strategy and the delivery of automation capabilities required to achieve business success. This individual will have extensive technical infrastructure experience, strong project management acumen, excellent vendor management skills, plus a superior service-oriented approach to the delivery of exceptional user experience. The Technology Architect is a visionary leader with strong skills in business management and expert working knowledge of Information Technology.

The Technology Architect provides leadership direction of all ongoing activities related to IT, its availability, and its continued modernization. As the subject-matter expert in IT, he/she is required to maintain current on new technologies and platforms, and provides direction on what emerging technologies need to be assimilated, integrated, and maintained to sustain business technology innovation goals.

 Position is hybrid

 Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience OR Associates in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of 13 years’ experience in managing a large and diverse technology infrastructure and IT workforce preferably in healthcare.
• Proven track record in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic healthcare environments.  Takes advantage of most current digital technology to innovate the delivery of patient care models and enable the digitalization of the business.
• Devises unusual or radically different approaches to deliver value-added IT solutions, and recommends long-term, best-in-class infrastructure that will provide enhanced support across the enterprise.
• Deep understanding of current and emerging Cloud technologies in healthcare and how to leverage them to drive digital healthcare transformation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to communicate complicated technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic plan. Inspires and motivates the team through painting the vision of IT and its strategic intent.
• Excellent analytical skills, able to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, works well in a demanding dynamic environment to meet overall project objectives.
• Advanced knowledge of cyber security and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements for SOX, HIPAA, PCI, and FERPA among other healthcare regulations.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Effective time management and planning skills.
• Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to local CHS facilities.
• Hands-on experience with the latest enterprise technologies in storage, backup, virtualization, compute, networking, servers, cloud, client devices, and enterprise application delivery.
• Advanced certifications in at least 3 enterprise technologies. Certifications must be current.
• Hands-on experience with automation and orchestration in an enterprise environment.
