About the Position
The Architect is part of the US based Production team composed of Modelers, Engineers, BIM Specialists, and Estimators. The Production team guides projects to completion from beginning to end. Architects work closely with India production teams, on the drafting side as well as contract
management.
As an Architect you will....
● Assist with architectural design work from concept through construction documentation for
projects requiring collaboration with various engineering disciplines and consultants
● Assist with the production and coordination of construction documents
● Conduct material and product research as required for product development
● Prepare conceptual sketches/diagrams and 3D models to convey the design intent
● Analyze program, space planning and area calculations
● Revise architectural plans as marked and thoroughly coordinate with other sheets as required
● Collaborate with customer and India teams to deliver BIM Models
● Adhere to BEP (BIM Execution Plan) and BIM project workflow criteria
● Perform QA / QC on work products delivered by India based teams
● Interact with clients and architectural design staff on project clarification and other MEP requirements
● Conduct field site visits with a possibility to be stationed on a project site
To be successful in this position the following requirements are strongly recommended
● Possesses minimum 3 years experience in the Construction industry
● Practical experience with software like Revit/ Sketchup/ Rhino/ Photoshop/Illustrator and other 2D and 3D design software
● Understands design related code
● Possesses spec checks and spec writing skills
● Flexible availability to travel as dictated by business need
