The ideal candidate must be an all-around Renaissance person with superb design skills; an understanding of modern technical details as well as older construction methods; have experience in research and preparing construction documents; be able to work on suspended scaffolding and aerial lifts; have excellent writing and verbal communication skills; and the ability to work both independently and on a team.

Required Experience:

• 
  A degree in architecture from an accredited architecture school is required. An advanced degree in Historic Preservation is a positive.
• Licensure is preferred but not necessary.
• Must be proficient in: AutoCAD, Word, Excel, Revit, in addition to: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Rhino, 3D Studio Max.
• Preferred, but not mandatory experience: forensic building analysis / investigation and reporting; performing site visit observations on building enclosure systems; historic preservation, building rehabilitation and adaptive reuse experience; has performed investigation surveys to evaluate the condition of existing buildings and other structures.
