Our Global Health and Financial Solutions Sector is seeking an Application Programmer/Analyst.
The Applications Programmer will serve as a part of a team developing changes and enhancements to the Medicare Fee for Service claims processing system – Medicare Part A, Medicare Part B, and Common Working File (CWF). Our teams follow an agile/scrum development life cycle (SAFe). Responsible to create technical design deliverables, develop new programs, enhance existing programs, build unit test plans, cases, data and execute those tests. Installs changes into internal testing regions and fixes discovered defects. Follows procedures and coding standards in a highly rigorous development environment. Plans and executes work assignments in a way to ensure all assigned due dates are met. Can identify and implement process improvements and updates to technical documentation. In addition to traditional mainframe work (COBOL, CICS), this position could involve building and updating web APIs, as well as other cloud solutions. There will also be some mainframe work (COBOL, CICS) associated with the modernization changes.
