Job duties include:

• Provide in-home care and support to clients, including elderly individuals, individuals with disabilities, or individuals recovering from illness or injury
• Assisting clients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, toileting
• Help with medication administration
• Taking vitals, height, and weight
• Meal preparation and feeding clients
• Transporting clients to appointments
• Support for hobbies and social activities
• Light housekeeping, grocery shopping, and other errands
• Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals

Skills

• Ability to lift heavy objects and assist clients with mobility needs
• Knowledge of basic care principles and first aid procedures
• Experience in meal preparation and understanding of dietary requirements
• Familiarity with social work principles and ability to provide emotional support to clients
• Ability to administer medications accurately and safely
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Understanding of resident rights and ability to advocate for clients' needs

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
