Client Services Director directs and oversees the implementation operations of an organization. Oversees a team responsible for installing and deploying technical systems, software, hardware, or solutions. Being an Client Services Director implements policies and creates procedures to ensure consistency and high-quality work. Ensures that the timelines, planning, scoping, and cost estimates support successful projects that meet the needs of the client organization. Additionally, Client Services Director tracks implementation timeliness and client issues and develops solutions to implementation problems or challenges. Develops team skills and expertise with coaching and training activities. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of technical specialty. Typically reports to senior management. The Client Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Client Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     The Youth Respite Home Manager is responsible for planning, directing, or coordinating care for our clients (including, but not limited to, client finance, medical needs, in-home care, and quality assurance) for individuals with developmental disabilities served in a group respite home setting. Additional responsibilities include human resources functions for the agency, including hiring, coordination of DSP schedules for retention and internal compliance to meet the level of care for individuals’ needs, and performance management of all employee staff. Ensure customer service and relationships between all team members involved in the care of individuals, including DSPs, family members, guardians, county/state representatives, and internal departments. Ensures appropriate compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations outlined by Agentic Client Supports and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:


    ·        Recruits, orients, trains, evaluates and monitors the on-the-job performance of staff.

    ·        Aids in managing staff and expenses consistent with approved budgetary goals.

    ·        Establishes and achieves goals and objectives for the team.

    ·        Prepares work schedules following client staffing ratios, makes job assignments, and prepares payroll for submission by the payroll administrator.

    ·        Manages the services and supports in compliance with policies and procedures of Agentic Client Support Services and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, including auditing HPC documentation, Med Admin Records, Mileage, and other service documentation.

    ·        Ability to work flexible hours and cover direct support shifts. 

    Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

    ·        Direct Support—demonstrates excellence in the provision of culturally appropriate direct support services using person-centered approaches, builds self-advocacy and self-determination skills, and facilitates the person being included and engaged in their community.
    ·        Health, Wellness, and Safety—work with the person and their team to develop a support plan that promotes health and safety and actively monitor, review, and ensure support meets the person’s needs and desires.
    ·         Participant Support Plan Development, Monitoring, and Assessment—operationalizes the person’s goals and chosen outcomes; coordinates and facilitates the provider support team and maintains excellent communication with other team members (family, friends, county boards); ensures services and supports are correctly documented; monitors and reviews services to ensure they are meeting the person’s needs and desires or else working towards revisions of the plan.
    ·         Facilitating Community Inclusion—develops support in coordination with the person; supports the person in exploring educational, employment, volunteer, and retirement opportunities.
    ·        Promoting Professional Relationships and Teamwork—enhances professional relationships with the provider team and other team members; works effectively with others to achieve common goals; facilitates teamwork and the professional development of those they supervise.
    ·         Staff Recruitment and Retention—use best practices to recruit actively and retain highly qualified staff; proactively works to equip their staff to succeed and to recognize contributions of team members.
    ·        Service Management and Quality Assurance—manages and oversees people’s services and supports in various settings in compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and best practices; seeks to do things the best way.
    ·        Advocacy and Public Relations—educates community members on the rights of people with developmental disabilities; advocates for and with people to access and participate in services and opportunities that promote safe, respected, and valued membership in the community.
    ·         Leadership, Professionalism, and Self-Development—professionalism and engages in ongoing self-development and professional-development activities; supports co-workers and actively engages in the organization’s life.
    ·        Cultural Awareness and Responsiveness—respects the unique characteristics of each person and provides culturally appropriate services and support; values the diversity of team members. 
    ·        Communication and Constructive Problem Solving—communicate clearly and respectfully; express complex ideas in understandable terms; actively engage with their supervisor, co-workers, and direct reports to find positive solutions to challenging situations.

    Required Skills/Abilities:

    Education and Experience:

    •  High school diploma or GED
    • An associate degree in business administration or related management is preferred.
    • Three to four years of experience in developmental disabilities; two years of leadership and management experience is preferred.
     Physical Requirements: 

    Prolonged periods of sitting and typing on a computer.
    Ability to assist with placing clients in physical holds.
    Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
    Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
