Client Services Representative (Banking) jobs in Brandon, FL

Homeowners Choice currently has openings for Client Service Representatives with the opportunity to work hybrid/remote while living in the Tampa Bay area. We are looking for individuals with a strong customer service background, seeking a career in the property and casualty industry, and driven to become subject matter experts in their new role. 

As a Client Services Representative at Homeowners Choice, you are responsible for providing world class service to customers regarding their insurance policy through phone, email, and fax communication.

Shifts available:

• Monday-Friday from 10am-7pm
• Monday-Friday from 9am-6pm

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides exceptional customer service when responding to customer questions and concerns
• Processes endorsements and policy changes forwarded by agents, policyholders, and lienholders
• Assists with payment transactions and inquires
• Handles First Notice of Loss calls
• Keeps detailed records of transactions within our policy management system
• Aids other departments during CAT (catastrophe) events
• Maintains continuing education requirements
• Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & TRAINING

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Two years or more related customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience

LICENSES OR CERTIFICATIONS

• Insurance 20-44 License (certified or acquired within 30 days of employment)
