Client Services Representative (Banking) acts as the customer's go-to banking resource to deliver in-branch services, referrals, and product information, resulting in enhanced satisfaction and broadened customer relationships. Identifies customer needs and uses current knowledge of all bank products and services to explain, promote, and cross-sell products and services. Being a Client Services Representative (Banking) processes basic branch service transactions and refers customers to the right resource to facilitate other banking requests. Provides research and solutions to account issues, answers to customer inquiries, and education and training on banking self-service technology. Additionally, Client Services Representative (Banking) requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Client Services Representative (Banking) works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Summary:

    Community Workforce Solutions, a workforce development program of the Community Building Institute Middletown, supports marginalized job seekers in accessing resources needed to obtain sustainable employment. This position coordinates services on behalf of clients, and assists with program administration under the direction of the Senior Client Services Coordinator.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Client Service Coordination

    • Receiving, confirming and scheduling new client referrals
    • Screening new clients in order to recommend next steps and engage appropriate services
    • Client referrals to and from program partners and community-based resource providers to address client barriers to employment (transportation, housing, mental health, substance use, etc.)
    • Communication and coordination w/ staff and partners, attendance at meetings as requested
    • Scheduling and promotion of client workshops and events
    • Collection of data and preparation of reports to ensure compliance with ODJFS
    • Supporting and encouraging clients in their progression throughout the program

    Administration and Communication Support

    • Schedule coordination, appointment setting, and written communication to clients as needed
    • Program marketing calendar and room scheduling
    • Follow up with placed candidates to troubleshoot concerns and ensure ongoing job success
    • Maintain program materials, copies, files

    Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination

    • Engage volunteers to support client service and coaching objectives
    • Collaborate with other CBI programs to maximize social media and volunteer engagement
    • Coordinate promotional materials and communication to support client-related events

    CBI Internal Documentation / Processes

    • Document & track client services in C3S & appropriate tracking spreadsheets
    • Maintain client records in accordance with HIPPA standards and industry best practices
    • Team & Staff Meetings, internal coordination of client-related services w/ other CBI programs
    • Other duties necessary to meet CBI Team and organizational goals

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • At least 3 years office management experience
    • Strong detail, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
    • Must pass an annual background check
    • Previous experience in social service, case management, or workforce development industry roles preferred, but not required.

    Job Type: Temporary

    Pay: $18.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 32 per week
