Client Services Representative (Banking) jobs in Jackson, MS

Job Overview: We are looking for experienced accountants to join our Client Accounting Services team. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in general ledger accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Experience with QuickBooks or related accounting software is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Record and review journal entries.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for financial data accuracy.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate discrepancies.
• Communicate with clients on a recurring basis.

Requirements:

• Proven accounting experience including knowledge of processes and software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proficient with technology including Intuit QuickBooks Online and Desktop.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting.
• 5 years minimum experience in a related role.
• United States citizen due to potential security clearance requirements.
