Position Description
At Nevada Humane Society, our mission is to care for pets, find them homes, and save lives because we believe all pets deserve a happy, healthy life. Within this framework, our front desk associatesareresponsible to find good homes for dogs, cats and other animals both at the shelter and at offsite adoption events, while creating a positive experience for prospective adopters. This position also provides information to the public about our animals and services we offer, while assisting with animal control dispatch, licensing, and found animals. Lastly, this role routinely handles a wide variety of animals during the adoption process and is responsible to provide compassionate and attentive care of the animals at all times, maintain a clean healthy environment for the animals and the public.
