Job Specifications: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting.  A minimum of 3 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.  Must be competent in Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of ERP systems, preferred JobBOSS software.  Experience with Ultipro software a plus.  Self-motivated individual who understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals.  Able to work effectively under pressure.  Good communication skills.  Organized and detail oriented.

Primary Skills & Responsibilities:

• Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and general accounting functions
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• Assist in the formulation and maintenance of internal controls
• Assist in the preparation of financial reporting in compliance with corporate guidelines and requirements
• Providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses
• Manage journal entries and reconcile accounts for the monthly, quarterly and annual closing
• Review and post weekly payroll disbursements and accruals ensure that bank reconciliations are completed
• Assist in the preparation of budgets or forecast. Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
• Manage and oversee capital expenditure process
• Produce information for the annual audit and serve as a liaison to external auditors
• Reconcile inventory ledgers to perpetual reports on a monthly basis
• Manage and oversee preparation of annual labor and overhead rates for new inventory standards.
• Provide cost reports to management, including work in process, inventory and costing metrics
• Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
• Providing cash forecasting and analysis
• Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
