    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    25% Project charter development, which may include:

    • Executive summary, purpose, measurable objectives or success criteria, requirements, assumptions and constraints, risks, milestones, budget, stakeholder list, approval requirements, and designated sponsor.

    35% Assist project launch, which includes:

    • Ensuring proper stakeholders are involved, executive summary is understood, and high-level requirements are identified.
    • Ensuring each summary of work aligns with executive summary and is approved by stakeholders.
    • Identifying and developing schedule for key deliverable milestones.
    • Identifying the plans required for a particular project, which may include communications, procurement, quality, requirements, risk, schedule, and scope; and
    • Ensuring the scope management plan affirms project scope and prioritizes functional requirements.

    35% Assist project execution, which includes:

    • Monitoring progress toward key deliverable milestones; and
    • Ensuring stakeholders remain informed of changes to scope, plan, schedule, progress, issues, and risks.

    5% Closes each project and each project phase, which includes:

    • Obtaining necessary approvals, developing phase transition plan to include post-implementation support, documenting lessons learned, and ensuring project archival tasks are completed.

    EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    • Two to three years of software development project management or related experience required.
    • Experience with business, communications, and office environment software and hardware technology required.
    • Professional oral and written communication skills required.
    • Analysis, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills required.
    • Experience with project management software preferred.
    • Experience implementing API, system, and user interface software projects preferred.
    • Experience with agile software development practices preferred.
    • Strengths required in values, work intensity, achiever, positivity, relationship, resourcefulness, and exactness.
    EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.
    • Project Management Institute certifications preferred.
    • Certified Scrum Master or similar certifications preferred.
    • Industry standard development certifications beneficial.

    PHYSICAL AND WORK SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

    • May require work over 40 hours a week to complete functions and expectations of the position.
    • May require availability to participate in night & weekend "on-call" rotations for production-level system and application outages.
