Hours:
- 2nd Shift
- Monday - Friday
- 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm EST

Direct Report:
- This position will report to the Quality Manager.

Summary/Objective

The Quality Technician completes in-process inspections of finished product produced from the manufacturing lines. Responsible for validating if product is meeting specifications based on the frequency of the checks required during production. Responsible for communicating results to team leads and supervisors for verification and containment if necessary.

Essential Functions

1. Engage and ensure inspection activity for product throughout production cycle

2. Validate that product meets required specifications

3. Apply the usage of the proper quality tools and reporting processes

4. Interact with production floor operators and supervisors to ensure quality of all product being manufactured

5. Initiate and properly identify containment of nonconforming product when necessary through proper communication with production floor team members

• Technical Capacity
• Use of Quality Tools – Tape measures, digital calipers, digital scales
• Math Skills - Problem solving, add, subtract, and divide
• Writing Skills – Completing inspection forms with calculated results
• Time Management - Frequency of inspection checks
• Proper use of laboratory equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the vast majority of a shift
• Ability to move from one operating line to another and to the Quality Lab multiple times during a shift
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.50 per hour
