Quality/CMM Technician

Bridgman, MI

Eagle Technologies is looking for a Quality/CMM Technician. This individual will be responsible for inspecting various manufactured details and fabrications from within our machining department as well as outside sources. This individual would have the ability to perform some simple machining tasks.

What would a typical day look like?

• Operating our CMM machine & other measuring devices to inspect details & fabrications used to assemble our custom machines.
• Documenting & filing results of inspections.
• Performing some simple machining tasks to alter or manufacture details to fill gaps in workload.

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

• Strong background in blueprint/part-print reading.
• Experience in Quality Inspection
• Experience in inspection environment using calipers, micrometers, indicators etc.
• Experience operating a CMM machine.
• Ability to do light machining in a Bridgeport type mill and manual engine lathe.
• Detail oriented, generating reports & sending them upon request.

What qualifies you for this opportunity?

• Ten years of PM leadership experience
• Five years experience leading a Project Management Office at the corporate level.
• 5 years as a Project Manager for Engineering related projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA and Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Formal experience with continuous improvement tools and processes such as Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, Value Stream mapping, etc
• Reliable transportation and an ability to travel; although this position is focused on local clients and minimal travel is required, you should have the ability to travel within US and Canada
