Client Technologies Technician, Sr. jobs in Stamford, CT

You are: 

A skilled Desktop Support Technician, who will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting computer-related infrastructure, including video conference equipment, and assisting employees, including our Senior Management Team experiencing IT difficulties.  

You will: 

1. Maintain hardware asset management and recommend laptop Procurement to meet the organization needs.
2. Configure workspace as requested.
3. Repair, test, image and clean PC’s, laptops, monitors, printers, and other related hardware.
4. Manage video conference rooms. Configuration, software updates, hardware issues. Readiness health checks for all major events /meetings.
5. Provide support to network team in troubleshooting issues with network hardware, think smart hands and eyes.
6. Occasionally support desktop engineering team in imaging and testing new configuration changes.
7. Manage mobiles (iOS and Android) hardware assets.
8. Co-ordinate with vendors to repair and test hardware.
9. Experience with one or multiple OEM certifications is a plus. 

Your background: 

As a Desktop Support Technician, you have: 

1. Bachelor’s degree
2. 5 years of experience in PC/Laptop build and PC refresh of Windows and Mac laptops.
3. Experience in fixing hardware issues related to PC / Laptop and IT accessories.
4. Experience in handling Video Conference configuration and troubleshooting with a bonus if performing health checks using Grafana / Dynatrace / Splunk is something you are familiar with.
5. Knowledge in Active Directory (ADDS), SCCM, Azure AD, Microsoft Intune, and JAMF Pro.
6. Knowledge of security patching, software packaging & deployment and mobile device management.

Candidates must be willing to work onsite in Stamford, CT 5 days a week, with occasional travel to Shelton.
