Note: This is a full-time position and will requireprimarilyevening hours.

Basic Function:

Provide therapy, in an outpatient setting, to children, adolescents and families in the WCS Clinic. Therapy may be provided to individuals, families or groups of clients. This includes intake, assessment, treatment and discharge planning. The position may also require case management and community collaboration on behalf of the client.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Complete intake assessment and, with guidance from the Director of Community Services, determine treatment goals.
2. Provide outpatient therapy to clients, families, or groups on a regularly scheduled basis in the Clinic.
3. Complete all paperwork related to intake, assessment, treatment planning, discharge planning, and billing and as required for Clinic licensure, accreditation compliance and data collection.
4. Participate in, and/or provide documentation for, meetings or proceedings related to clients outside the Clinic.
5. Participate in Clinic meetings or trainings as arranged by the Director of Community Services.
6. Maintain knowledge of and follow agency policies and procedures as contained in the WCS Personnel Handbook, WCS Procedure Manual, and departmental manuals.
7. Function as a positive role model for all students and staff at Waterford Country School.
8. Maintain an awareness of and sensitivity to the cultural and socioeconomic differences present among the service population and fellow staff members of WCS, ensuring that cultural needs are respected and supported through the delivery of services and the development and implementation of agency programs and policies in a manner that is free from discrimination and bias relating to race, ethnicity, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, status as a victim of domestic violence or religious beliefs.
9. Other duties as may be assigned by the Director of Community Services.

Limited Telework Capability

Limited ability to work remotely in necessary circumstances as approved by a direct Supervisor, or in the event of a declared weather or other emergency. Telework should be performed in accordance with the Remote Work Policy in the WCS Personnel Handbook.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Mariage and Family Therapist or Licensed Professional Counselor. Experience providing individual, family or group therapy. Ability to assess children, adolescents and families for treatment and provide this treatment in an outpatient setting.
