Core Functions:
- Assist with day to day activities within the assigned clinics including managing schedules, daily staffing, patient access, continuity, clinic flow, reinforcing policies and procedures and patient safety.
- Engage in problem solving to address issues related to patient safety, care and service.
- Act as a resource in the daily operations and activities of each department.
- Oversee active schedule management to balance patient access, schedule utilization and continuity.
- Promote effective working relationships amongst team members.
- Collaborate with clinic manager and medical directors on quality initiatives and managing quality metrics.
- Participate in implementation of strategy work and support of departmental goals, objectives and program development/optimization.
- Oversee monthly report management, analyzes data and identifies trends to inform business strategy.
- Manage HR functions of supervisors and supports the needs of the team with interviewing, selection, onboarding, education/training, feedback, performance evaluation and policy/procedure development.
Background/Expertise:
- Bachelor’s degree in health administration, business or related field required, or 4 years of experience in a directly related field.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- Working knowledge of standards and laws applicable to physician referral, and business development
- Leadership experience in a complex healthcare organization with significant physician management expertise desired.
- Understanding of healthcare billing, coding and managed care.
- Understanding of provider employment and compensation models that can drive productivity and performance.
- Ability to travel/commute within business area as necessary.
