Position Summary:
The Director of Clinic Operations at OrthoAlliance is responsible for the oversight of daily operations and supporting successful clinic growth. Oversight includes clinic operations, managing growth, risk management, and effectively influencing positive outcomes with all constituencies. Knowledge of orthopaedic clinical operations or health care practices, procedures, and standards, is preferred. This position also requires an understanding of personnel principles and practices and will assist in all clinical support.

Specific Job Duties
- Support and oversee the daily operations of clinic locations
- Provide administrative support, design, and implement business strategies to help clinic meet organizational goals.
- Collaborates with clinic and ancillary leaders in supporting the operational and strategic needs of the physicians.
- Drives integration of all physicians and staff into the OrthoAlliance culture through efficient and effective management of all practice operations.
- Monitors revenues and productivity of clinical departments and suggest improvements as needed
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to identify best practices and plan and execute performance improvement, process improvement and integration management
- Maintains compliance with governmental regulations and industry requirements
- Enhances operational effectiveness, emphasizing cost containment and high-quality patient care
- Strives to maintain positive internal and external customer service relationships.
- Sets measurable goals and evaluates achievement of goals.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures. Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisor.
- Works closely with administrative and physician leadership to drive optimum business management, including operational efficiency, financial performance, and organizational dynamics.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and excellence while implementing OrthoAlliance policies and procedures to enhance the patient experience
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Oversees the daily operation of clinic
- Supervises and mentors clinic managers
Education/Experience Required:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Must have ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents.
- Must have Physician practice and/or Surgery Center experiences
- Must be able to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- The ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, etc. is required.
- Must be able to work with and practically apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Physical Requirements:
Physical requirements for the position include the ability to frequently hear and communicate orally, see up close and at a distance, read and comprehend, stand, sit, walk, reach, handle, and/or feel objects. Must be able to climb, pull, push and kneel. Maximum unassisted lift = 25 lbs. Average lift less than 10 lbs. Must be able to work extended hours as necessary.
