Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Sprinkle Road Veterinary Clinic is looking to add a full-time Receptionist to our front desk team. Shift requirements are (4)10 hour days during the week and rotating Saturday's. (Closed on Sunday's)
Our Receptionists are the face of our practice. This role plays an important part in our community reputation and in supporting our clients and patients by providing great customer service.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple phone lines and medical files
- Triaging medical needs to veterinary staff
- Booking appointments
- Greeting clients
- Processing payments
- Ensuring that the reception area is clean and comfortable for clients.
This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule however, rotating Saturday shifts will be required. A love of animals and a customer service background is a great fit for this position. Experience preferred but not required.
