The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to patients, managing medical records, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks. - Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary co-pays or payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (Eaglesoft, Epic)
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations

```Requirements:```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar administrative role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (Eaglesoft, Epic)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
