Clinic Receptionist jobs in Elk Grove, CA
Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. *General product knowledge: flea and heartworm preventatives, medications, etc. *Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively *Self-motivated *Superior customer service skills *Ability to read and understand medical terminology *Pharmacology knowledge *Duties include, but are not limited to: *Answering multi-line telephones, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records. *Communicating with clients regarding patient care. *Assisting doctors with medical care of patients.
Experience in the veterinary field required- Minimum 1 year experience
- Phone Interview will be held first, and then in person working interview.

Salary: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
