Clinic Receptionist jobs in Harlingen, TX
Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Summary: To act as receptionist and telephone operator by relaying incoming customers and calls to the appropriate person by performing the following duties.

Answers multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and relays telephone calls in an efficient manner.
Greets, screens and directs incoming customers and vendors in a professional manner.
Operates standard office equipment including:
photocopy machine
facsimile machine
computer and printer
typewriter
multi-line telephone system
Collects money and credit cards for payment of goods and services from customers and places in cash drawer.
Prepares/Creates contracts and motor vehicle paperwork for sales personnel and/or managers on computer daily.
Types and files various correspondences and other documentation as required.
Maintains a professional office environment and promotes a positive image for the company.
Monitors facsimile machine, direct incoming documents to appropriate individuals and sends documents via facsimile as requested.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
