Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. We are looking for an energetic, friendly and responsible receptionist for our busy single doctor small animal veterinary practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year office experience.
Duties include:
● Ability to cheerfully answer and manage a multi-line telephone and greet public
● Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems in general and IDEXX Neo practice software a plus
● Computer literate
● Must be performance-driven and be able to get the job done
● Appointment scheduling
● Accurate handling of monetary transactions
● Other duties as assigned
Our hours are Monday - Thursday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. providing 32-40 hours/week.
Benefits include:
● 40 hours paid vacation after 12 months, 80 hours after 24 months
● 24 hours sick leave after 3 months, 40 hours/year thereafter
