Glenroads Veterinary Clinic is seeking a part-time Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing
team!

This is a part-time opportunity which will include about 28-32 hours per week.

Someone who is highly motivated, pays excellent attention to detail, can work as a cohesive part of the team, and performs in a fast-paced environment. Our goal is to provide quality and compassionate care to all patients, this must be of high priority to our teammates.

Veterinary Assistant Responsibilities:

• Communicating and educating clients on medical procedures and next steps.
• Assisting DVMs and Veterinary Technicians with patients during pre-op, surgery, and post op.
• Stocking exam and treatment rooms with supplies, maintaining a sterile environment for treatment, x-ray, surgery, labs, and isolation wards.
• Able to appropriately handle animals

Veterinary Receptionist Responsibilities:

• Greet clients, set up appointments, and answer hospital phone calls.
• Maintain inventory of all medications, prescription foods, medical and office supplies.
• Create and maintain the Veterinarian schedule.
• Manage client and vendor relationships.
• Accurately enter client information, collect payments, and print receipts

Job Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent, AAS or higher preferred.
• Customer service experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.
