Clinic Receptionist is responsible for greeting and registering patients as they enter the admitting ward of a hospital or clinic. Provides phone, clerical, and data entry support including insurance verification. Being a Clinic Receptionist directs patients, visitors, and callers to appropriate parties and answers basic questions. Requires a high school diploma. Additionally, Clinic Receptionist typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Clinic Receptionist possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Hillsborough Veterinary Clinic is a small animal practice that has been in business for more than 30 years. We recently transitioned to new ownership, remaining independently owned and operated. HVC offers the highest quality full service veterinary care including wellness and preventative medicine, surgery, dental care, radiology, ultrasound, complete in-house lab work, as well as therapeutic care including laser therapy and acupuncture. Our team is committed to maintaining strong veterinary-client-patient relationships, keeping each pet as healthy and happy as if it was our own.
We are currently looking for 1 new team member. Experience in the veterinary industry and with AVImark software system preferred.
One position available. 4-5 days/week. Starting pay based on experience. This is primarily a veterinary assistant position but candidate should be willing and able to perform receptionist's duties as well.
Our hours of operation are Mondays through Thursdays 8:00am until 5:00pm and Fridays 8:00am until 4:00pm. We are closed Saturdays and Sundays and major holidays.
