Professional Health Care of Pinellas is seeking a friendly, energetic, and experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy team.
The primary duties of this position include responsibilities for greeting patients, check in/check out, collecting payment, scheduling and confirming patient appointments with responsibilities also in our Call Center for coverage as needed. Professionally greet patients and visitors, check in/out for appointments, verify insurance coverage, schedule appointments. This position is an excellent opportunity to enhance skills with advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong customer service and a willingness to do any administrative task to support the patient and clinic. Must be able to work in multiple locations. Qualifications and Skills
2 years experience working in a related medical office position is required, medical Call Center experience is also a plus
EMR experience is required, prefer experience using eClinicalWorks.
Must have a basic knowledge of Medical Terminology and healthcare regulations
Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures of a medical clinic
Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Well organized and detail oriented
Excellent Customer Service skills, Interpersonal skills and excellent Communication skills (oral and written)
Self motivated team player with analytical, technical and problem solving skills
Possess high professional demeanor and take pride in providing quality service
Maintain 100% confidentiality relating to all patients, corporate, financial and proprietary information
Ability to collaborate with others
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
Ability to work in various locations
Bilingual preferred.
