Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service during every patient encounter (in person or via phone). Display a professional attitude, greet patients promptly with a smile, and thank them when they leave
• Answer phones promptly with courteous and friendly service at all times. Calling patients to remind them of appointments and rescheduling appointments as needed.
• Practice urgency with both the patient's time as well as the doctor's time and schedule
• Check-in and check-out patients making their next appointments and collecting their payments
• Manage patient flow in the the office
• Complete daily reconciliations/close day/count cash drawer
• Process billing information and generate invoices for patients
• Review and verify accuracy of billing data
• Resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
• Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries or concerns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing procedures and policies
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
• Comply with all company policies and procedures including HIPAA
• Daily general office duties including reports, letters, filing and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned by your manager

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to work a Saturday morning rotation as needed (one Saturday per month)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in data entry and computer skills
• Experience with billing software or systems is a plus
• Knowledge of chiropractic/medical billing processes is a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Consistently creating a positive work environment by being both team -oriented and patient-focused
• Desire to gain chiropractic knowledge and training
• Ability to grow, adapt and accept change

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand and be on their feet for extended periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
