- Collect and process payments for services rendered
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Provide basic information to clients regarding pet care and general veterinary procedures
- Assist with animal restraint when necessary
- Assist with laboratory procedures, including sample collection and preparation
- Handle animals with care during check-in, check-out, and throughout their visit
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred because of the fast paced nature of the position
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of basic animal care and handling techniques
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for data entry and appointment scheduling
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
