Clinical Administrative Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an assigned unit or clinic section within a hospital. Schedules employee shifts and ensures admitting and discharge functions are providing for optimal patient flow. Being a Clinical Administrative Coordinator ensures that hospital resources are being used in the most efficient manner. Assigns patients to appropriate health practitioners. Additionally, Clinical Administrative Coordinator may perform other administrative functions as necessary. May require a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. To be a Clinical Administrative Coordinator typically requires 2 to 4 years of related experience.   • Partners In Care is seeking a Clinical Administrative Associate II who provides administrative support in various functions to individuals, teams, departments, or other groups in the organization.  Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of social workers, RNs, volunteers, chaplains, and more to enhance the lives of our patients and their families.
     
    Compensation: $20.00-$25.05 (DOE). 
    Location: Bend, Oregon.
    Schedule: Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8 am-5 pm.

    What You Get to Do: 
    • Provides general administrative support for Clinical Operations Director and Clinical Supervisors. 
    • Receives the public and answers questions, in person and by telephone; responds to inquiries from employees, citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to the appropriate person, official or department.  
    • Serves as department resource for troubleshooting, operational assistance, and clinical staff support. 
    • Assists clinical supervisors with new staff training/orientation and prepares related materials. 
    • Responsible for organizing and facilitating emergency preparedness-related activities, including but not limited to drills, tabletop exercises, implementing procedures during and after an emergency or event, and providing education resources to staff.  
    • Supports and troubleshoots staff scheduling and processes. 
    • Assists with updates and monitors policies and procedures.
    • Participates in data analysis for ongoing quality projects.
    • Assists the quality and other clinical departments with various reporting, audit submissions, and data reporting.
    • Provides PTO staff coverage, overflow support, and process troubleshooting for various departments. 
    • Provides scheduling support to all clinical departments (Rehab, Home Care Aides, Nursing, etc.). 
    • Assists with pharmacy-related pick-up and coordination. 
    Required Skills & Qualifications: 
    • Clinical Administrative Associate possesses excellent interpersonal skills in a clinical setting, and the ability to communicate and relate effectively with Partners In Care staff, and agency visitors via in-person, phone, and email communications. 
    • Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational, communication, problem-solving and time management skills. Able to take direction from a wide variety of individuals at all levels. 
    • Prior experience in hospice and home health operations is desired, and willingness to develop a broad knowledge base in these areas of operation is required. More than 75% of daily tasks are completed at a desk. 
    • Advanced word processing, Excel/spreadsheet, and graphics software skills. 
    • Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. 
    • Ability to pass a background test, drug screen, and TB test.  
    • Current automobile insurance, valid Oregon driver’s license, and reliable transportation required for those working in the field. 
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
