We are currently seeking a Data Technical Project Manager to join our team in Irving, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).
Job Description:
This is a hybrid position so would require 3 days on site in Irving, TX and 2 days remote.
Role Responsibilities:
- Define and organize the program, outline tenets, analyze data, drive performance improvements and influence resource allocation for all stages of execution (from ideation to delivery)
- Brainstorming and planning the project execution and delivery
- Execution of each phase of the project
- Communicating with all stakeholders
- Project initiation and estimation
- Sound foundational knowledge of infrastructure and architecture
- Ability to communicate effectively in both technical and non-technical terms
- Preparing and sharing weekly Project status and reports to stakeholders
- Understand service level agreements (SLA) and how your systems are performing in relation to them
- Own planning, standups, demos, retrospectives, and the execution of your sprints
- Remove blockers and always find the path forward in challenging situations
- Keep technical debt in check
- Ensure your system self-report breaches and understand root cause
- Mentor and grow your people
Basic Qualifications: 7 years in the following:
- Project management experience with skills in project initiation, estimation, and project structuring
- Data, data lake
- Spark, ETL eco system and JIRA tool
- Managing the lifecycle for a complex cross functional body of work
- Establishing collaborative and productive relationships with product management, governance, UX design, vendors, and other supporting teams.
- Working closely with development teams to build and launch new products, features, and programs
Nice to have:
- Financial services & Data Governance experience
- Cloud & Snowflake
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, or a related field.
