    The Lead Hospital Data Analyst will report to the Director of Information Technology. The Lead Hospital Data Analyst will be working in a fast-paced environment with a tenured and experienced staff. This facility is run by some of the best healthcare providers in the region. This department offers a wide variety of services, from emergency care, to rehabilitation, to behavioral health. 

    The ideal candidate will have their Epic Certification, and Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Biostatistics, Public Health, or Science Like Field. They will also ideally have experience as a healthcare data analyst. 

    The Senior Epic Data Analyst will have the following duties:

    1. Designs, develops, and manages data extractions, analysis, and reporting tools/dashboards for operations and performance improvement projects
    2.  Performs complex data queries, mapping, and analysis functions including interpretation and analysis
    3. Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases
    4. Ensures and interprets accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end data reporting for internal and external parties
    5. Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data for end users
    6. Evaluates and improve upon current processes and controls to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
    7. Partners with department leaders to assist in reporting, regulatory compliance, and process improvement projects.
    8. Works with Population Health team to prioritize data requests.
    9. Researches and analyzes alternatives for improving work flows and develops “best practice” recommendations by partnering with the managers and outside organizations, examining data and identifying trends.
    10. Performs special projects and other related duties as assigned.
