    For this role, we are seeking a Network Development Manager to work in our Data Center Network Engineering organization. This team is responsible for designing and operating all of Amazon’s massive scale data center networks. Our data center networks provide high bandwidth and low latency solutions for aggregating server racks. Managers in this organization own supporting the hardware platforms, defining the physical topologies, routing architectures and software control systems for these networks.
    As a Network Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of experienced engineers and have ultimate responsibility for end-to-end delivery of key networking products and services; including new feature design, testing, deployment as well as overall responsibility for operational, capacity management, implementation, automation, standards, process management and change control. You will work closely with your customers and business partners to align a technical roadmap that ensures those outcomes are achieved.     About the team
    This team is responsible for operating and designing all of Amazon’s massive scale data center networks. Our data center networks provide high bandwidth and low latency solutions for aggregating server racks, inter-connecting data centers in our regional backbone, inter-connecting our data centers to our Border network, and for management and monitoring of all network devices and critical data center infrastructure. Managers in this organization own supporting the hardware platforms, defining the physical topologies, routing architectures and software control systems for these networks.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Associate's degree, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis
    - Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem, and work toward resolution
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    - Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
    - Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $272,400/year in our highest geographic market.
