JOB SUMMARY
Billing Specialist I will be responsible for ensuring the timely submission of pharmacy benefit claims. In order to achieve this, the Medical Billing Specialist will be responsible in communicating with varies different payers and insurance processors to resolve accounts receivable claims for reimbursement.

Ability to sit for 7-10 hours per day and work extended hours as needed. Some bending, stretching or reaching and the ability to lift 25lbs are required. Ability to see and read fine prints. Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Requires ability to perform data entry functions for 95% of the scheduled work shift and perform duties in a fast-paced environment with high demands and tight deadlines. Requires ability to view computer monitor for long periods of time without eyestrain.
